Fees
Notarisation Fees
- The fee for notarising one document is £96 (£80 + VAT at 20%).
- The cost of certifying a document is £48 (£40+VAT at 20%).
Apostille Fees
If you require apostille services and if you would like us to handle this, please see the fees and timelines below:
Service | Fee | Timeline |
---|---|---|
Standard | £45 | Up to 15 working days (+ approx. 3 days for courier delivery) |
Next day | £40 | Next working day |
Apostille services are provided by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and their fees are not subject to VAT. The next-day service is only available for registered businesses, and since my practice is registered, I can offer this option.
If time is not a concern, I recommend the standard service, which is the more cost-effective option.
If you opt for FCDO service, my handling fee, including postage, is £50 + VAT (20%) = £60.
Timescale and Collection
Each notarial matter is different and the requirement and timescale will vary according to the need of the client. We will give an estimate total time to process your documents.
Please note: The timescale given is an estimate only and we will not be held liable for any delay in the processing of your documents due to third party delays. I will notify you once the documents are ready. You may collect them from my Uxbridge office (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM).
Mobile Notarisation
I also offer a mobile notarisation service. Additional fees apply as follows:
- Travel time (both ways): £50 per hour
- Mileage: £0.45 per mile or reimbursement of public transport costs (upon receipt submission)
Storage of Documents
I will retain a copy of my notarial acts relating to documents in the private form, identification documents and a copy of your correspondence for 12 years in accordance with our data processing terms and privacy policies.
Redress
I am insured under a professional indemnity policy for at least £1,000,000.00.
